Trails & grooming
2025–26 season
The official MN DNR Southwest Quadrant snowmobile map covers the entire Sno-Cleats system and every connecting trail in southwestern Minnesota, along with the current state regulations.
Effective July 2025 through June 30, 2026. Large file (~40 MB) — worth it. The latest edition is always at the DNR snowmobiling page.
Our trails are mostly on private property. Landowners are the key to having local trails, so please follow every posted sign — and use common sense: if it doesn't look like a trail, you shouldn't be on it.
The system connects St Cloud to Alexandria via the Wobegon corridor and Sauk Centre to Padua, with links toward Elrosa and Meire Grove in the works. From our trails you can reach Minnesota's full 20,000‑mile network.
Two Ford tractors pulling Sur‑Trac groomers maintain the system from December 1 to April 1, weather permitting. A full pass over every route takes about 50 hours. Volunteers do all of it — join us, or at least help us buy a few gallons of gas!
Every November we host a Minnesota DNR snowmobile safety course aimed at riders ages 11–15 — and recommended for anyone new to the sport. Watch Facebook for this season's dates.
